My siblings

So I have to brag a little bit about my siblings.
They drive me absolutely crazy, but I don't know what I would do without them. I was having a very emotional moment the other day. Seriously I was stressed all day, and I was getting a head cold and my siblings were in the backseat fighting and teasing each other. And I just start crying. Not because of my siblings, but just because of how emotional I had been all day! And my dad looks over at me like "why the heck are you crying?" And I was just thinking about how much I love those crazy kids in the back seat.

Calum has been my little partner in crime since we were little. We did EVERYTHING together. We would play barbies together and make up silly games (like don't let the deflated balloon touch the ground. Definitely one of our favorites as kids) and we would play PS2. I have to admit, seeing Calum get so big so fast has been really hard. I remember going to watch him play in a football game over the summer and I was looking for this little kid, until Nate pointed out that Calum was the tallest kid on the field. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? My little bother isn't so little anymore. Still love him to pieces and crumbs, and so grateful we are still best friends.

Aiden. Oh my goodness where do I begin with him?
Haha he is something else. He makes me laugh so much. Me and Aiden are nothing alike. He is very quiet and won't leave the house unless he is forced to and I am a busy bee. I have to be doing something every minute or I go crazy.
Most people don't even know I have 2 brothers, that's how quiet Aiden is. But he is the funnest person to tease! hahaha you can get the funniest reaction out of him for almost anything. For example, he hates affection. And I am the biggest hugger and cuddler. So I will go up and squeeze the crap out of him and hold his arms so he cant push me away and just kiss the crap out of him. He is a goof, and says the funniest things. He doesn't have a filter. Just says what he thinks. Sure love my Aiden-boy.

And lastly, my Aislynbug.
She is my mini me. She is by far the sparkliest 5 year old I have ever seen. She loves dressing herself, carrying purses and helping mom out. Not to mention, she loves dance. I swear she asks me if we can dance and listen to (disney) music at-least twice a day. It's her absolute favorite.
And every time I head out the door for drill she is always asking me when she can go to dance with me. How cute is that?
And she has the biggest heart too. I am constantly getting presents from her. She will go find a toy in her room and go wrap it up and give it to me. For my birthday I got a pink hat with a big pink flower on it. It was 3 sizes too small for my head but she loves wrapping presents and giving them to people. She is just the biggest sweet-heart. She will sit with me when I have bad days and do everything she can to make me laugh. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend.

My siblings are the best thing that has happened to me and my parents. I don't know what I would do without those cute kids.

New Year Resolutions

Well I have never been one for New Years resolutions... in fact, I have never had a New Years Resolution!  But this year is a big year for me and I don't want to have any regrets. So what better time to have New Years Resolutions for the first time in my life, right?!

Last night, when I was applying for school, I was thinking of everything that I want to accomplish this year. I want to get a healthy, fit body. I want to go to the gym more, have more confidence in the way my body looks and work on me a little bit more then I have.

I tend to live in the safe zone a lot more than I should. I miss out on trying new, fun things and I want to change that. So my 2nd New Years resolution is to say yes! To eating foreign food, (maybe trying ketchup for the first time) to go on spontaneous road trips, to play barbies with Aislyn for hours even when I don't want to, to take the time to be with my siblings and be thoroughly involved in their lives, meet new people, and laugh at everything.

My 3rd New Years Resolution is to read the BOM at least twice this year. I am so close to finishing it and I cant wait to start again. I have loved reading it and seeing the wonderful blessings that come from having the gospel in my life.

I am an old soul and I have been acting like an adult before I actually became one. I know this is a little backwards but I think I'm ready to be a little kid again. Not in maturity ways, but in a spontaneous, love everything about life ways. I am going to do things that I have always wanted to do, but haven't had the guts to go for. This year is MY year. I'm going to do great things.
I'm determined to!

I am so ready for this year to really kick off. BRING ON 2015!
